Singer Al B. Sure! is calling on officials to intervene regarding the creators of what he describes as a “fake” memoir about his late ex-wife, Kim Porter. Porter was a longtime partner of Sean “Diddy” Combs. “For over a decade and a half, I’ve been posting about, and tagging random law enforcement agencies in hopes to protect loved ones, avoid deaths & tragedies that could have all been avoided,” Sure wrote.
The memoir, titled “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice From the Other Side,” was released just before Combs’ recent legal troubles, including charges of sex trafficking.

Sure claimed that the memoir contains fabricated information and alleged he has been trying to warn law enforcement about cover-ups related to Porter’s death in 2018, which he described as a “tragic murder.”

He shared what he claimed were stolen notes intended for Porter’s memoir and suggested that her missing devices contain critical evidence.

“Ms. Porter’s missing devices, allegedly already in evidence, unquestionably contain the critical evidence that have been concealed,” Sure said. “I’m convinced that evidence corroborates closely with details outlined in the recently released public indictment document.”

“Kimberly was allegedly taken from us because she was set on course to accomplish what Mrs. Cassie Ventura did by igniting the Bon Fire [sic] which brings us here today,” Sure added.

Combs’ attorney dismissed the memoir as a sham that disrespects Porter’s memory.

“The Kim Porter ‘memoir’ is fake. It is also offensive – a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy. Chris Todd has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better. … It is an established fact that Ms. Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace,” Combs’ attorney Erica Wolf wrote.

Combs, who has pleaded not guilty to multiple serious charges, remains in custody awaiting trial.

The author of the memoir has admitted he cannot verify its claims, and two of Porter’s friends have stated they do not know him.
